About School
Gateway International School is an English Medium, Co educational, Senior Secondary, Day Boarding cum Residential School strategically situated away from the maddening crowd of Delhi yet near enough to avail the advantages of the National Capital Region. Aesthetically spread over a 15 acre lush green, well landscaped campus, we ensure that our children do not feel restricted in their learning environment.
GIS at Sonepat is a Co educational Sr. Secondary School, affiliated with the CBSE, which is the largest Education Board in India. It is also a member of the Independent School Federation of India.

Infrastructure
The exuberant and elaborate infrastructure is clearly split into three floors of academic and non academic blocks which can comfortably accommodate a large number of students. The entire building in centrally air conditioned and well lit. Separate rooms are provided for co-curricular activities. There is a 24 hours CCTV surveillance enabling a constant check on the activities of the campus. There is a 100% electricity and RO water back up making it congenial and comfortable of the students.
Boarding Facilities
The Gateway International School provides residential facility for the students. Separate hostels for girls and boys are maintained by the school. Apart from hostels, the school also offers day boarding facility for working parents and others. The wards availing of day boarding shall spend entire day in the school. The students are taken well care by the trained and dedicated staff and ensure to provide every facility to make them feel at home.
The school takes full care of the nutrition part of the students and thus provides delightful nutritious food to them. A hygienic Kitchen providing nutritious food for Boarders and Day Boarders under the expert guidance of a trained chef is a part of school infrastructure.
Library
The massive, modern Library has a large collection of books covering all the subjects and fields catering to all the levels of the students and staff. It has a good collection of audio and video CDs as well. The Library is continuously replenished with latest books of interest. Students are encouraged to cultivate good reading habits and use the Library as an important center of learning.
Science Laboratories
There are separate Science Laboratories for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, fully equipped and spacious so as to enable students to work in groups or individually. Together they provide ample possibilities to kindle the curious minds of the students giving scope for exploration and experimentation to develop the scientific thinking and temperament.
Computer Laboratory
The Computer Laboratory is well furnished and equipped with more than 30 networked PCs. Students make extensive use of this provision for their projects, online tests, gathering information from the internet and more.
The Website of the school gives the parents and other interested members a clear picture of GIS and its updates. The Laboratory is supplemented by an Audio Visual Room, well equipped with a digital projector and a collection of academic teaching supplements.
Mathematics Laboratory
The concept of a Mathematics Laboratory is yet another of our effort in making learning more enjoyable and effective. It is activity based pedagogy in the teaching of Mathematics at the Primary and Middle Level Promoting inquiry and exploratory learning under the able guidance of trained teachers. The Laboratory is fitted with state -of- the- art furniture, up to date apparatus and equipments in sufficient quantity to provide every child to play with and experiment on.
Language Laboratory
The Gateway International School has made one of its best investments in the well designed and equipped Language Laboratory to promote and enhance the learning of English. The present global scenario demands a student to be well conversant and confident in the most sort after Global Language and GIS takes great care to give this language its due importance.
Social Science Laboratory
Social Science lab brings students closer to ones environment, society and intricacies of the geographical, social, economic and political processes it enable them to understand the process of social change and the role that they can play towards this change.
Audio Visual Room

Auditorium

A children park is also present in the school campus where various swings and slides are present for students of junior section.
Infirmary
Security of the students' health is given its due importance in GIS. An infirmary is set up with essential facilities and first aid medication and is well looked after by a qualified medical practitioner available throughout the day. In case of a medical emergency beyond the convenience of the clinic, students are taken for proper medical attention to reputed hospitals. Annual Medical Check Up is done and a record is maintained for the same. Parents are informed if any specific attention is needed.
